Driscoll Children's Hospital is hosting C.P.R. classes. According to the American Heart Association, 350-thousand Americans are affected by cardiac arrest every year. Often times, bystanders do not step in when someone around them has an attack, due to lack of confidence. Beginning this Saturday, February 8th, classes will be available once a month, and it's all for free.

You may have noticed several different species of birds flying around The Coastal Bend.
USA Today reader's choice has named "Arkansas National Wildlife Refuge" the number one birding spot in the nation... the mayor of Rockport, Pat Rios said they have made improvements and additions to the Arkansas pathways sites, which house 32 sites developed for birding. If you enjoy bird watching...check out goose island state park, Rockport beach, and Aransas woods...

Nascar driver and Corpus Christi native, Bobby Labonte was inducted into the Nascar Hall of Fame this weekend joining his brother, Terry. Bobby earned his spot by a career highlighted by 21 trips to victory lane and the 2000 premier series title. Successful in all three of Nascar's national series, Labonte was the first of four drivers to win both an xfinity and premier series championship. He is also one of 27 drivers to win a race in all three national series.
