Chief of the Division of Sea Turtle Science and Recovery Dr. Donna Shaver and Volunteer Jan Roberson join us in studio to talk about Kemp's Ridley nesting season and how the community can get involved. Hatching release season is around the corner and you have an opportunity to volunteer and become trained to help with this event. Make sure you get signed up for the nesting training dates in February. Additionally the Southeast Regional Sea Turtle Network also known as S.E.R.S.T.N. will be having an open house Wednesday February 5th at the Omni Hotel from 3:30-7:15pm and it's a FREE event.
