CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — While dry Canadian air lingers over the Coastal Bend the next couple of days and its combination of fair skies, cool mornings and mild afternoons will prevail through early next week, the Caribbean remains active for tropical development. Meanwhile, no rain chance here until next Thursday. The polar airmass over Texas will slowly shift to the east, but it will not generate easterly winds until late Saturday. That will make for ideal Halloween weather, with fair skies and a mild early evening. Look for another cold front to arrive midday Sunday, knocking temperatures down about 8 to 10 degrees. Our next rain chance comes up on Thursday, with a weak upper level disturbance. Highs will range from the lower 70s to lower 80s, with lows in the lower 50s to middle 60s.
