Unfortunately, Christmas won’t feel very winter-like as humid air continues to stream in from the Gulf waters.
Christmas Day
We’ll see a fair mixture of sun and clouds after a foggy morning. Highs will be in the upper 70s with a stiff breeze off the Gulf at around 20 mph. A stray shower can’t completely be ruled out.
Wednesday’s forecast
The clouds will take over the skies completely on Wednesday and a couple of showers are possible. Our high will be around 75 degrees, but the humidity will be unusually high for winter time.
By late Wednesday, a few storms could develop. The time frame will go from Wednesday evening through the overnight hours. The weather pattern won’t guarantee that storms develop, but if they do, they could be on the strong side. The main threat for severe weather is near San Antonio and Houston.
Thursday: Clearing out
A cold front will blow through early Thursday, leaving us with clearing skies and a high in the mid-70s. Over the next week, Thursday will grant us the best weather.
