With the long holiday weekend now underway, it’s time to head to the holiday destination. As for the Coastal Bend’s weather, the sunshine doesn’t come to an end until Sunday.
Saturday: More sunshine
The sun will shine all day on Saturday with a mostly cloudless sky. The breeze will pick up during the afternoon, and it will be much warmer than the past few days with a high in the upper 70s.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy
A cold front will move into the area on Sunday, which will increase clouds. However, the front won’t move out of the area. As of now, it looks like the cold front will stall just to our south. This will keep things a little a cooler Sunday with a high in the upper 60s.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
The front will reverse and start heading northward on Christmas Eve. This will bring the warmer air back, with temperatures in the 70s for both Monday and Christmas Day. The mostly cloudy skies will stick around, and a brief shower can’t be ruled out. Christmas Day is looking to be fairly windy again.
