There was no real rain to be seen across the Coastal Bend on Monday and Tuesday looks to put on a similar performance. But by Wednesday, some changes start to arrive.
Tuesday’s forecast
Expect Tuesday to be another day with partly to mostly cloudy skies and the slightest chance of a stray shower or two. Highs will be in the low 90s.
Wednesday’s forecast
The first part of the day on Wednesday is expected to be more or what Monday and Tuesday brought. However, a cold front will start to move into the northern parts of our region on Wednesday afternoon. As it does so, scattered showers and storms are expected to form along it. This are of showers and storms will then drift south into the Coastal Bend between late-Wednesday and Thursday morning.
The cold front will be weak and falling apart as it moves into the region, however, it may deliver a small blow of some slightly cooler air—low 70s—for Thursday morning. Unfortunately, as of now, indications do not suggest we’ll see anything significantly cooler.
Thursday and Friday
The cold front will then stall. This will keep the chance for scattered rain in the forecast all the way through the end of the week. The temperatures should stay in the 80s most days, but that will mainly be due to the rain and cloud cover.
