Thursday and Friday will go by quietly weather-wise, but Saturday may bring a couple of showers to the area.
Thursday’s forecast
Thursday will bring lots of sunshine and highs in the 90s. We’ll have some more relatively dry air during the afternoon, which should keep the heat index much closer to the actual air temperature.
Friday: More sun
Things stay quiet on Friday, with more of same warmth and sunshine. However, there may be a little more moisture in the air, and high temperatures are forecast to be a degree or two lower—around 95 degrees in Corpus Christi.
Saturday and Sunday
A surge of moisture will move into the Texas coastline over the weekend, but the odds of seeing rain are remaining fairly low. Expect a couple of stray showers for Saturday and Sunday, but otherwise we’ll be looking at partly cloudy skies and highs in the low to mid-90s. If you have outdoor plans or are heading to the beach, don’t worry about it. You should still be good to go, but you may have to take out the umbrella for a minute or two.
