That cold front didn’t do much for our afternoon temperatures, but our morning lows will be a little cooler than normal over the next couple of days.

Thursday’s forecast

The somewhat drier air that has moved into the area will leave us with a cool morning low on Thursday. We will likely be sitting around the 70-degree mark by sunrise Thursday. The record low is 69 degrees, and there will likely be some parts of the area that reach the upper 60s.

The rest of the day on Thursday looks plenty warm with mostly sunny skies. Look for a high in the upper 90s, but because of the slightly drier air, the heat index will be much closer to the actual air temperature.

Friday: No big changes

Friday continues the overall quiet weather trend with a high in the mid-90s and mostly sunny skies.

Saturday and Sunday

We’ll finally start to see more moisture in our atmosphere by the weekend. However, even at that, rain chances still don’t look great. This will be good news for folks who are planning to spend time outside or at the beach. There should be some good sunshine, but a few showers may pop up.
