Isolated rain in the forecast by Tuesday

Monday’s weather will be pretty low-key, but Tuesday weather will spice-up the forecast just a little bit more.

Monday’s forecast

Monday is National Cheesecake Day, but plan on eating that cheesecake indoors. Temperatures will spike in the upper 90s in Corpus Christi and over 100 for areas west of town. Passing clouds will be around, but otherwise, the sunshine will be abundant.

Of course, it wouldn’t be the Coastal Bend if we skipped over the humidity. It will be high again for Monday, meaning that our feels like temperatures will be over 105 degrees during the peak of the afternoon heating.

Tuesday: Isolated showers

Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast for Tuesday, but highs will be a little bit lower. This will be thanks to an increase in cloud cover and a slight chance of some rain in the area. A cold front will slide into the northern parts of our area, but it will be falling apart as it does so. No “cold” air will accompany the front, but a few isolated showers are likely to pop up, especially later in the day. Most folks will probably stay dry, but a few of us will see some rain.

Wednesday and Thursday

Wednesday brings another disappointment in the rainfall department. Isolated showers for the first part of the day, but once again, most of us will likely miss out on the rain. By late Wednesday, and through the end of the week, dry conditions will set up across the area.

However, this may change by the weekend. We’ll have details on that as the week progresses.
