We are looking for another round of storms to move through the Coastal Bend again today.
However, this will help to keep our temperatures a bit below average.
The forecast calls for partly sunny skies with showers and thunderstorms likely.
We will see an afternoon high around 87 degrees with light winds.
Tonight we can expect mostly cloudy skies with a few lingering showers.
We will see an overnight low around 75 degrees.
Scattered showers will continue again on Sunday.
Some areas could see some locally heavy rainfall that could lead to some flooding.
The showers will become a little less widespread early next week.
There will be enough moisture in place for isolated showers Monday and Tuesday.
High pressure will return midweek.
This will bring sunny and warmer weather conditions Wednesday through Friday.
Daytime highs will be in the lower 90’s with overnight lows in the upper 70’s.
