CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A Veterans Memorial High School student returned home in triumph after placing in a national womens wrestling tournament.
Abby Mendoza placed third at USA Wrestling's USMC Women’s National Championship in Spokane, Washington. Mendoza competed against other competitors in the U-17 freestyle division.
