HOUSTON — Can you believe Baskin-Robbins is going vegan?

The iconic worldwide ice cream store is going vegan with two new non-dairy flavors of ice cream.

Now, you'll be able to purchase non-dairy chocolate chip cookie dough and non-dairy chocolate extreme starting on Thursday.

KRPC in Houston reports the new flavors are made with a blend of coconut oil and almond butter.

The finished product is the result of two years of work by the company's culinary team to perfect those non-dairy flavors.

The company already has some vegan-friendly, non-dairy choices with its sorbets and ices. But now, it appearently has hit the holy grail with a creamy vegan treat.

And if you are just a tad hesitant, Baskin-Robbins will be passing out free samples of both non-dairy favors on Sunday afternoon.

So grab your spoons and go.
