CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The driver killed in a crash on State Highway 44 has been identified.
He's 59-year-old Isaac Garcia of Robstown.
The Department of Public Safety tells said Garcia was headed west on TX-44 when he crashed into an 18-wheeler that was traveling ahead of him.
Garcia's truck hit the cab of the 18-wheeler as it made a right turn onto Violet Road.
He died at the scene.
The driver of the big rig was not hurt.
