CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Texas State Aquarium is making a splash in the national headlines.
A vacation website called The Travel listed the aquarium as one of the the Ten Must-See Aquariums in the U.S.
The website which serves more than four million readers took note of the education and outreach programs that have reached nearly 82,000 kids in the past year as well as the variety of exhibits focusing on the Gulf of Mexico and western Caribbean.
Earlier this year, the Texas State Aquarium was nationally recognized as one of the top five aquariums in North America by USA Today.
