San Patricio County also had some serious flooding yesterday.
And some residents say it's not just the rain that left their properties looking like swamps.
One woman says she's being trying to get the San Patricio County Drainage District to fix a problem that has aggravated the flooding in the area for years now.
And in a statement sent to us today, the drainage district says it's willing to work with any landowner that will grant it easements to construct drainage improvements.
