CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A fire erupted at an Ingleside apartment complex on Wednesday night.
Crews from Ingleside Fire Department, Aransas Pass Department, Portland Fire Department, and Rockport Volunteer Fire Department responded the call close to 8 p.m. at the Downtown Ingleside Apartments. Those apartments are located at the 2900 block of Atlantic. According to a firefighter at the scene, one complex with 16 units was evacuated. Only 2 units were actually damaged.
No injuries were reported. The cause of what sparked the fire is still unknown. It remains under investigation.
