UPDATE: AEP reports they restored power to the areas affected by 4:25 pm Friday.
AEP customers in Jim Wells County are without power.
The power went out just before 4 pm Friday.
According to AEP Representative Omar Lopez, the power outage affected two sub power stations, knocking out power to hundreds of customers. Most of these customers are located in the stadium area.
The estimated restoration time is scheduled around 7 pm.
