CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Some people plan to camp out at Corpus Christi City Hall to protest the Blucher Park Ordinance that's up for a final vote on Tuesday.
A group opposed to the ordinance say it's discriminatory because it targets the homeless.
The ordinance would ban things like beds, stoves and sleeping bags from the park. It would also shut down the park at 8 p.m. instead of 10 p.m. The group that opposes the ordinance says they'll camp out at City Hall starting at 2 p.m. on Monday. They plan to stay there until Tuesday morning when the city council meeting begins. The Council could pass the ordinance on Tuesday.
