CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Google is joining forces with Goodwill to launch the "Goodwill Digital Career Accelerator."
Less than 50 percent of the Texas Workforce know how to use a computer, cell phone, or tablet.
Goodwill and Google want to change that by offering a free digital skills class. You can learn basic computer skills as well as get help with your resume and interviewing skills.

"People are scared to go online; people are scared to do this. We want to make sure we equip them with the tools so that when they do go on, they are successful, and they can apply for jobs in our computer lab as well as on their smartphone because again, everything is going to the digital age," said Keith Sander, Goodwill Employee Consultant.

The computer classes are offered at Goodwill Industries at 2961 S. Port Avenue. Classes are held Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
