On Saturday, if you pay a visit to Corpus Christi Animal Care Services, you can get your pet microchipped for free.
CCACS said it wants to make sure lost pets get home safely.
It's taking place from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Pet owners must be in line with their pet by 5 p.m., and cats must be in crates.
CCACS is located at 2626 Holly Rd.
