The county is working with the health department and other experts to create a task force.
The goal is to make sure all law enforcement and first responders have Narcan as well as crisis intervention training.
The county also wants to work with CCISD to create a prevention and education program in K thru 12th grade.
Other goals include creating services such as a detox center and a jail diversion center.
