A body was discovered on the side of the road just south of Beeville today.
The Bee County Sheriff’s Office says the body was found by a passerby after lunch along Ridgeway Lane. The exact location was not released.
Officer found an ID on the body. The victim is a 19-year-old from Honduras. The Sheriff’s Department says it appears the teen was a victim of human traffickers. They believe he died during transport and was left behind by others traveling with him. The Sheriff’s Office is working with the Honduras Consulate to locate his family.
