Residents warned after burglar enters sleeping resident’s bedrooms

Corpus Christi Police are advising residents to make sure their doors and windows are locked at night after disturbing reports on two recent burglaries.  

According to CCPD, officers responded to two separate burglary calls on May 21 and 23, one on Loritte Drive, the other on South Saxet Drive, and in both incidents, the burglar entered the bedrooms while the victims were at home asleep.  

In each incident the suspect was described as a Hispanic male. In one incident the residents added that the suspect appeared to be between 35 to 40 years of age, clean cut with short hair. 

Police are investigating both burglary reports and ask anyone with information to call CCPD’s Criminal Investigations Division at 361-886-2840.
