Officials in Kingsville are investigating a double homicide after two men were shot and killed Monday night.
Police were called to the Utopian Apartments in the 1700 block of N. 1st St. around 8:30 p.m., according to a press release from the police department.
The men have been identified as brothers, Adan Villarreal, 41, and Jose Villarreal, 37 from Alice, Texas.
The gunshots were heard near the apartment complex, not far from Texas A&M University- Kingsville.
The University issued a safety advisory following the incident last night. The safety advisory stated two men had been shot and two other men left the scene.
No arrests have been made so far.
