Is he still in the car, or did he escape?
Police will search under water this morning for the driver who crashed into the river.
The accident happened just after midnight.
Police say a driver exited Interstate 37 toward Labonte Park, crashed through a barricade, and ending up in the water.
Two female passengers were able to get out of the car, but they tell police they never saw the driver get out.
Later this morning the Corpus Christi Police Department Dive team will search the waters for the man and the car.
