With all the recent rain, you may have noticed more mosquito presence in the area.
The city’s Vector Control Director says, they’re ready to spray larvacide to kill any mosquito larvae in our waterways or in standing water.
Meanwhile, the city has 28-traps placed all across the city and they will check every Tuesday.
Tomorrow morning, crews will collect the traps to determine whether there’s an increase in mosquitoes in the area and whether any are carrying life-threatening viruses.
