The body was found with the assistance of the United States Border Patrol and its K-9 unit.
The search is coming amid a continuing search in that area by law enforcement, family and friends of missing Texas A&M-Corpus Christi student Brandon Rios.
A search party spent much of Wednesday scanning the trails along the Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve looking for signs of Rios.
The missing student was last seen by family on May 3. He was reported missing the next day after he didn’t return home that night.
