After a software glitch left thousands of people owing money to the city, the grace period to pay the city back expires at the end of May.
Last summer, the city determined about 17,000 accounts had not been billed correctly. They were undercharged for city utilities and the city needed citizens with the account error to pay for the services they received for free due to the account errors.
If you do not make arrangements to pay the city what is owed, city crews will disconnect your water and gas and trash will not be picked up until the accounts are settled.
