Corpus Christi city council members have pushed back a final decision on their choice for a city manager.

Mayor Joe McComb canceled a special-called meeting scheduled for 10 a.m. to discuss the selection of a new city manager.

City Council members came back from executive session Tuesday afternoon and announced they would ask Slavin Management Consultants for more information on the four finalists for the position.

Discussion on the selection of a permanent city manager is expected to continue on April 23.

The four remaining candidates are Harry Black, Lee Feldman, interim city manager Keith Selman and Peter Zanoni.
