A free event to help parents ensure they have their children’s car seat properly installed is being held tomorrow.
Driscoll Children’s Hospital, along with The Texas Department of Public Safety and Safe Kids Coastal Bend are coordinating the event, scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. April 12 at 1701 SPID.
A certified car seat inspector will be on site to examine the car seats and their installation.
Texas law requires all children younger than 8 years old, unless they are taller than 4 feet, 9 inches, to be properly restrained in a child safety seat.
