Third arrest made in Hi-Ho store robbery

A 17-year-old man believed to have been involved in the Hi-Ho convenience store robbery last week was arrested by Corpus Christi Police Monday afternoon.

The arrest came in the 2700 block of Milo Street, off Ayers Street.

Police said officers had received a tip that the suspect had been staying in the house.

Those living at the residence were cooperative when the arrest was made as evidence was collected. The suspect was transported to talk with detectives.

Police said the 17-year-old suspect could be tried as an adult for his participation in the crime last week.

The suspect did not put up a fight when he was arrested. He was called out at gunpoint and then taken into custody.
