The Fulton Oysterfest benefits local volunteer fire department

TheFulton Volunteer Fire Department puts on one of the best Oysterfests in the world. This unique festival is going on at the waterfront in Fulton, Texas and is showcasing the very best oysters that seafood sources along the Texas Gulf Coast have to offer.

Oysterfest attendees enjoyed a plethora of carnival rides, games, food, an oyster eating contest, live music,unique vendor booths, and fun for the whole family.

It started on Thursday and will last until Sunday and staffed entirely by fun-loving volunteers. Check out the schedule here.

Don’t miss out on a chance to support a good cause. With a record number of 36,000 participants in 2011, Oysterfest is a major funding provider for equipment, training, & maintenance for the Fulton Volunteer Fire Department.
