Corpus Christi City Marshal’s were on the search, going through different neighborhoods, knocking door to door trying to make contact with people who have outstanding warrants.

However, when visiting these residences, there are many times when the person who has the warrant might not be home but that does not mean they are off the hook.

“You can do one of two things. I mean you can either forget about it and say you know what I’m not going to take care of it, or you’ll see us,” says Deputy Marshal Michael De La Garza.

Marshal’s say it’s important for people to come in and take care of their warrants as soon as possible.
