A job fair took place at Del Mar college’s west campus to help people choose their prospective carees today.
The college holds the job fair every semester, and you don’t have to be a student to attend. It’s always free and open to the community. The job fair offers information that job seekers can utilize to form decisions about their profession. Career counselors are available for words of encouragement, and online classes are highly encouraged.
Etiquette coach Miss Kimberly was invited to the fair to offer advice on what she knows best, which is professional manners. Miss Kimberly is the founder of “Modern Manner Academy” and is determined to help people be their best. She goes over skills that are necessary to succeed in your professional life and your personal life. These skills include posture, communication, and business etiquette.
“There are so many employers here today to provide information to the public, and it’s free. Then I come in to help teach you how to get that job, keep the job and have basic good manners. That is what today is all about, giving back to the community, so people can help form good decisions. It’s a win win situation and so they can keep going down the path of success.” Said Kimberly.
Del Mar College will have their next job fair in the Spring of 2019. If you are interested in contacting Miss Kimberly, you can visit her website at http://modernmanners.academy/index.html, or you can e-mail her at miss.kimberly137@gmail.com.
