There’s another change coming to the intersection of Aquarius and Park Road 22.
A traffic light was installed there in there in February 2017 and it stirred up a lot of controversies. Some Island residents were worried it would catch drivers off guard and lead to accidents.
There were also concerns that traffic could back up onto the bridge. On Monday, a new flashing yellow arrow light will go into service at that intersection. The City says the new flashing light is being installed to improve safety and traffic flow.
