The middle school in Port Aransas has a colorful way to say thank you to the other schools who helped them with hurricane recovery efforts.
More than 30 flags are hanging at the entrance to Brundrett Middle School. The flags represent all the other schools that donated money or supplies to help the middle school reopen.
There are lots of flags from Texas plus some from other parts of the world. Just about everything at the school was destroyed by Hurricane Harvey causing the school to close for six months.
