Four men attempted to run from police after allegedly robbing a convenience store at gunpoint overnight. All are waking up in jail this morning.

Just before midnight, officers received a call about a possible robbery at the Times Market on Williams and Airline. Police say witnesses told them two men, one armed with a gun, robbed the store clerk and then took off from the scene. Witnesses were able to give officers a description of the vehicle.

Officers spotted the vehicle on Highway 358 (SPID) and attempted to pull the vehicle over. The driver of the vehicle continued down the highway, according to officers.

The driver turned onto Rodd Field Road and ended up crashing into a pole. Four people jumped out of the vehicle and ran from the scene, officers said.

Officers chased after the suspects and caught all four, officers on scene said. All four were arrested on a variety of charges including evading arrest.

A gun was found inside a duffel bag in the vehicle the suspects were in.

No injuries were reported.
