Corpus Christi Police, along with Fire and Rescue units responded to a report of a U-Haul truck that exploded earlier today.
The report of a possible explosion at the corner of Meandering Lane and Player Street came in just after 10 a.m. Sunday morning.
A fully-loaded U-Haul truck, towing a sedan, was pulling away from an apartment complex in the area, when the cargo area of the truck exploded, sending debris into the roadway and near-by property.
According to police, the two people inside the truck were uninjured.
Officers at the scene say the explosion is under investigation.
