The deadline to register to vote is tomorrow. An event was held today to make sure Nueces County residents were all set for Election Day on Nov. 3.
The event was held at Brewster's Ice House on the Southside. Several organizers were making sure residents were registered to vote and if they weren't they were registering folks.
“Everybody needs to vote,” organizer Gregory Hermann said. “The time for sitting on your couch and hoping democracy goes by itself, those days are over. You need to get excited and vote.”
Early voting begins on Oct. 13 and ends on Oct. 30.
