A 51-year-old man found floating in the waters around Mustang Beach has died, police said.
He was pulled from the water near Beach Marker 183 just before 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The man was taken to Bay Area Hospital, where he passed away yesterday evening.
Police say a woman jumped into the water to pull the man back to the shore.
Once he was on land, CPR was started, as medics arrived on the scene.
The woman also was taken to the hospital only as a precaution.
