DPS investigators say alcohol may have played a factor in a fatal rollover crash.
The crash happened just before Friday just before midnight along County Road 48 just north of Robstown.
The crash killed 18-year-old Justin Franco and injured four teenagers.
Monday, DPS Public Information Officer Sgt. Nathan Bradley confirmed alcohol was a possible factor in the crash involving the five Tuloso-Midway High School students.
Sgt. Bradley said there were broken beer bottles and evidence of alcohol inside the car at the time of the crash.
All the survivors of the crash are still in the hospital recovering. Three remain in ICU and one was moved to a room.
Investigators said one teenager was wearing his seat belt.
