Temperatures will fall to the upper 30s in Corpus Christi and mid-30s further inland. A split-second freeze can’t be ruled out in the far northern Coastal Plain, but it is unlikely.
Monday: Barely in the 40s
Monday morning will be a wake-up call—cloudy, drizzly at times, and temperatures barely making it to the 40s during the afternoon. This will be one of the coldest afternoons this winter.
Monday Night: *Night to watch*
A light freeze will be possible for the northern Coastal Bend on Monday Night. This is seen by the pink coloring on the map above. Currently, this does NOT include Corpus Christi. However, you will want to pay close attention to the forecast over the next 24 hours if you are concerned about a freeze.
