October is the month for ghosts and goblins and were at North Beach at Blackbeards, where Corpus Christi Spook Central is going to try to find some real ghosts and goblins.

There is a lot of prep work that goes into this. wires and cameras all over the place.

Monty Prescott, the co-founder of Spook Central mans master control.

“Right now we are setting our camera system and most of the cameras are in the areas we’ve gotten stories and from previous investigations,” said Prescott.

The next step is to turn off the lights. and call for the spirits to come

“Move something, let us know you are here,” said one of the investigators trying to lure the spirits.

We are at the bar area where much of the focus was on.

The last time Spook Central was here they caught an apparition on this machine, the Thermal Imager.

It appears a man walks across the screen

While I must admit, this night at Blackbeards didn’t give us much this night, but that’s not to say Corpus Christi isn’t haunted.

Legend has it that a child still haunts the Sidbury House at Heritage Park.

Spook Central captured this:

“You could hear a voice come over and say this is my house,” said Prescott.

So there’s definitely spirits flying around Corpus Christi, “yes all around Corpus Christi, and even more during the Halloween season,” concluded Prescott.
