The reality of what Bill Cosby will be living with during his incarceration apparently is leading him to make desperate pleas to his wife from jail.
Radar Online reported that Cosby was allowed a brief phone call by speakerphone to Camille Cosby, who he has married to for 54 years. His wife did not attend the disgraced comedian’s sentencing earlier this week. He was sentenced from three to 10 years for sexual assault.
“They took my cane, tie and shoelaces because they think I will harm myself,” Cosby complained on the call, Radar Online reported.
Cosby also had a stale hot dog bun thrown at him upon his arrival in jail and he stumbled down a few steps because he wasn’t being guided. Cosby told his wife he felt like he was “under siege.”
The web publication also reports that Cosby begged his wife to do anything she could to help get away from prison.
“He told Camille, ‘Grab the checkbook and hire anyone and everyone’ who could get him out as soon as possible,” the source told Radar Online.
After sentencing the 81-year-old Cosby, Judge Steven O’Neill immediately revoked his bail and remanded him into the custody of prison officials. He was then transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in leg chains and handcuffs.
