The Aransas Pass Police department is asking for the publics help in identifying the owner of a white pick-up truck. After neighbors woke up to broken windows and damaged cars.
“Folks came out to go to work and they found their vehicles damaged,” says Aransas Pass PD Sgt. Frank Kent.
Sergeant Frank Kent, a detective with the Aransas Pass Police Department, says the incident happened Monday, August 6.
“Early morning hours around 5 a.m.,” says Sgt. Kent.
Officials say the suspects were driving around town, throwing rocks or bricks through windows.
They drove through four neighborhoods, hitting five cars. Causing a lot of damage.
The damages range from $200 to $2,000.
A neighbors security camera caught the suspected vehicle.
“A white pickup truck, does appear to have a toolbox in the bed and maybe some pinstriping down the side,” says Sgt. Kent.
So far, the department has no leads and is asking for any tips.
