Sights and Sounds to return to the Selena Memorial on Shoreline

The Selena Memorial Statue on Shoreline at the Marina could be the number one tourist attraction in town.There are always people. Day and night around this small memorial to the late Tejano singer.But, there is something missing for the people who visit the Selena Memorial.The lights and sound system have been down.But good news is on the way.The Park and Rec tell us they have a work order to repair the lights this week and the CVB tell us a new sound system has been ordered and is scheduled to be installed on Wednesday.The visitors we spoke to who visited the site today with say music and lights  would have been a nice touch."I think that would have been beautiful it should be working i would have liked that," said Danielle Sanders from Nashville, Arkansas.Kimberly and Samantha from San Antonio said, "that would be kind of cool."We will be following up with this story so keep watching Action 10 News.
