CORPUS CHRISTI – Dozens of teens are in trouble following a fight outside the Tropical Hookah Lounge on Nile.
Police say the event was wrapping up when about 300 minors spilled into the parking lot.
Cell phone video shows some of the fighting that broke out next among some of the kids.
It got so bad two off duty officers had to call for back up. More than a dozen police units showed up.
When it was over three kids had been arrested and four others were issued citations. The father of one of the kids involved says the situation could have been worse.
"You know it’s a kids event. You want to go there, you want to have fun, but the main thing is to be safe. But it just didn’t turn out that way." said Danial Fuller, a parent of one of the teen’s at the Hookah Lounge event.
Police say aside from a few scratches and bruises there were no serious injuries last night.
Charges include assaulting a police officer and evading arrest.
