SAN ANTONIO (AP) – Authorities say four people are being held for questioning after four others were shot when a dispute between neighbors in San Antonio escalated into a fight involving several people.
Officers who responded to the fight late Wednesday discovered three members of a family – a father, mother and their 17-year-old son – had been shot. A 22-year-old man who authorities believe was one of the gunman also was shot.
Police say the father and son were shot with a rifle and hospitalized in critical condition. The other two shooting victims were struck by shotgun pellets.
Two officers were treated for minor injuries after they were hurt breaking up the fight.
It wasn’t immediately clear Thursday whether any charges have been filed.
