Comic Con is this weekend at the Richard Borchard Fairgrounds in Robstown.
Helen Slater who starred in the Legend of Billie Jean, which was filmed right here in Corpus Christi will be here.
And the man who made the Incredible Hulk the number 1 comic character in the world will headline the show, former bodybuilder turned Hulk, Lou Ferrigno.
Ferrigno explains why he feels the Hulk is as popular today as it was when he co-starred with Bill Bixby 40 years ago.
"I took the Hulk and kept it alive because when I did the Hulk series at the time, Captain America, Spiderman failed as a TV series so the Hulk it turned out to be the most iconic comic character in the world it all has to do with the publicity the work I’ve done," said Ferrigno.
One of the things that makes Ferrigno special is his climb to fame hasn’t been easy.
He developed ear infections as an infant and is partially deaf, you may be able to tell by his dialect.
Ferrigno was also bullied in school as a child, so he began lifting weights at 13.
He fell in love with bodybuilding, winning Mr. Universe in 1973 and 74.
