Highway conditions steadily improved throughout the day in Woodsboro, but TX DOT still has issued closures and warnings for farm roads that are on the brink of being flooded if more rain is on its way. Roads that pass over creeks are already filled to max capacity, run-off ditches and sewers are full as well.

Neighborhoods within Woodsboro took in a lot of rain. yards are now make shift ponds, the stagnant water has mixed with dirt and other chemicals and many local residents fear the mosquitoes that come with too much standing water will wreak havoc on the community. The rain has put a damper on some economically as well.

" My God, I haven’t worked in 4 days, I got the kids inside and they are driving me up the wall, because they wanna play outside, and I don’t want them to play in this dirty water," Woodsboro resident, Gilberto Zuniga told KZTV.

Action 10 also spoke to several Sinton residents passing through, they confirmed that the area in Pirate country is also severely flooded.
